Well, here it is. My English project. Yes, we read the Old English epic, Beowulf, and had to do a report on it. I wonder if every 12th grade English class had to do this, seeing as how there are many other Beowulf movies scattered around the internet.

If you don't know what the hell Beowulf is, go check the Wikipedia article. Otherwise, enjoy the movie.

BTW: Yes, that's what I sound like. :)

Well now, this piece was both ridiculous and only covered the most basic aspects of this epic poem...

...and, in truth, I thought that it was pretty good.

^_^

As a writer, I like the liberties that you took with this, as a lot of it was pretty funny and actually held my attention for a while; the poem itself takes a little reading before anything good happens (though, it's still an awesome story).

I also like the unexpected happenings in this, as those were the parts that really made me laugh (or, in the least, chuckle slightly).

I do wonder as to the grade you received for this, as I can only imagine that you received high marks for creativity.

And, to answer your question, even though we did read this story in high school, we never had to do anything with it; usually, only Shakespeare received such attention.

Anyway, well done; thanks for sharing.

All that has ever been created was done so for a reason, even if that reason is just for it to be.

They actually gave you credit for that? THAT'S AWESOME! :w00t!:
